Job Description

Klien kami sebuah perusahaan agribisnis multinasional yang berbasis di Amerika Serikat membutuhkan sumber daya manusia yang profesional dibidangnya dengan dengan lokasi kerja di Lampung dengan posisi sebagai Product Agronomist (PA) serta tugas dan tanggung jawab utama adalah :

1. Product Development & Validation
   • Lead agronomic validation trials.
   • Develop and optimize technology packages (population, fertilization, crop protection, planting window).
   • Ensure product positioning is aligned with soil type, agro-ecological zone, and farmer practices.
   • Support pre-commercial and commercial stage hybrid evaluation.
2. Agronomic Data & Analysis
   • Analyze multi-location trial data to generate actionable recommendations.
   • Interpret GxE interaction and agronomic adaptability.
   • Provide technical insight for product advancement decisions.
   • Collaborate with R&D on trial design and protocol improvement.
3. Commercial & Field Support
   • Support sales team with technical training and field agronomy guidance.
   • Provide technical justification for product claims.
   • Assist in field issue troubleshooting (yield gap, pest, nutrient deficiency, etc.).
   • Participate in customer visits and product launches.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
   
   • Work closely with Breeding, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Sales.
   • Align agronomic strategy with contribution margin and revenue targets.
   • Support stewardship and regulatory compliance related to product usage.
5. Continuous Improvement
6. • Drive efficient agronomy ways of working.
   • Develop site clustering based on soil type and agro-climatic classification.
   • Identify opportunity areas to improve yield potential and product competitiveness.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, Soil Science, Plant Breeding, or related field
Technical Competencies, strong understanding of:

Soil fertility & nutrient management
Crop physiology
Trial design & experimental statistics
Agro-ecological zoning
Ability to interpret agronomic and yield data.
Experience with data analysis tools (Excel, statistical software).

Experience :

Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in agronomy, crop production, or seed industry.
Experience handling multi-location trials is highly preferred.
Experience working with commercial/sales teams is an advantage.

Strong analytical thinking.
Good communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work cross-functionally.
High field mobility and willingness to travel extensively.
Result-oriented and problem-solving mindset.
